T.E.A.M is now T.E.A.M.S

At Atlantis Group, our values guide everything we do: how we care for children, how we partner with families, and how we support one another as a team.

Since 2022, those values have been our T.E.A.M values: Trust, Exceeding, Above & Beyond and Magic Moments. They have shaped countless everyday moments across our services, from a warm welcome at drop-off to the small celebrations that make a child's day.

Today, we are proud to share that our values have grown. We are welcoming a fifth value: Safety. T.E.A.M is now T.E.A.M.S.

This year, we asked our educators and team members to review our values. We wanted to be sure they were still relevant and still meant something in their everyday work with children and families.

Their answer was clear. Safety needed its own place.

Safety isn't new for us. Keeping every child safe, well and heard has always been at the heart of what we do. What's new is that we are naming it. By making Safety one of our values, we are making that commitment visible to everyone, every day: to our children, our families, our team and our wider community.

Our Safety value

Children's safety, wellbeing and voice are at the heart of everything we do, making them feel safe and respected.

Three words in that statement matter most to us. Safety means children are protected from harm. Wellbeing means they are cared for, nurtured and able to thrive. Voice means they are listened to, taken seriously and supported to speak up about what they feel and need.

A value only matters if you can see it in action. Here is what our Safety value means in practice:

• Your child is protected, nurtured and supported to feel confident and heard.
• Every member of our team, in every role, knows their part in keeping children safe, whether they are an educator, a cook, an administrator or a leader.
• We communicate openly and honestly with you about your child's safety and wellbeing.
• Our educators are supported to feel safe and well too, because a supported team provides the best care.
• Safety is a shared responsibility. Every one of us has a part to play, and we hold that responsibility together.

See it, Own it, Solve it

At the core of our Safety value is a simple message we are embedding across every service: See it, Own it, Solve it.

1. See it. Notice when something doesn't look, feel or sound right.
2. Own it. Don't assume someone else will act. Take responsibility for speaking up.
3. Solve it. Raise it, act on it, and follow it through so every child stays safe.

We are asking every child, team member and family to commit to this message. Children can learn it in age-appropriate ways, so they know their feelings matter and that trusted adults will listen. Our team lives it in every room, every day. And families are part of it too, because child safety is everyone's business.

Your voice matters too

Over the coming weeks, you'll see our new T.E.A.M.S values displayed in our services. We hope they spark conversations, at pick-up, around the dinner table and in our community.

Together, we can make sure every child in our care feels safe, well and heard. That is a commitment worth naming.
