We are thrilled to announce our new Tall Tree Early Learning service will open in White Gum Valley in 2025! This beautiful service will provide intriguing and homely learning environments for children aged 6-weeks to 5 years.
Welcome to Tall Tree Early Learning White Gum Valley, our latest offering in exceptional care for your child.
Like our other centres, Tall Tree White Gum Valley, will provide a holistic approach to education, development and well-being.
The curriculum for Tall Tree White Gum Valley continues our Reggio-inspired and small group philosophy, allowing children the chance to lead their own learning journey and investigate whatever makes their heart sing. We connect the children, ourselves and our families to the local community, developing a true sense of belonging.
Small groups allow for confidence in their own abilities and true conversational learning with their Educator and friends.
Sustainability continues to be the focus of our programming, as we believe creating conscious citizens starts at an early age. Alongside Sustainability, Food and Nutrition education plays an important role in daily teachings and provocation. Here we introduce social eating and a focus on whole, seasonal ingredients. Experimenting with new tastes and textures through the best of what nature provides.
Our Early Learning Centre in White Gum Valley will celebrate all that is to be treasured about being close to the heritage of Fremantle and the wonderful learning opportunities this historic environment provides.

We believe good nutrition is vital in a child’s physical and mental development. Ensuring your little one is healthy, satiated and nourished is a passion for us; and so, Food Education is an essential component in each and every day.
Our in-house Food Coordinators partner with accredited children’s Nutritionists to create seasonal menus and are prepared fresh daily in our Centre’s. Our homestyle approach ensures we create wholesome, balanced meals using ingredients that can be sourced locally, readily available and food we know your children will enjoy eating.
We encourage children to experience new flavours and textures to gain exposure to a variety of food types. We encourage children to self-serve to ensure they gain and build on their fine motor skills and independence. We serve our food in a relaxed setting to ensure mealtimes are always a positive experience and an opportunity to build on their social skills.
All menus are developed with allergies in mind, offering a variety of gluten-free, nut-free, diary-free and vegan alternatives. As an environmentally conscious organization we are committed to sustainability and reduced food wastes in our services.

With a decade of experience in Early Childhood Education and Care, our newly appointed Centre Manager, Miranda Christensen brings a deep passion for championing best practice and creating enriching early learning environments. Beginning her journey as a casual trainee, she quickly discovered her purpose and has since progressed through roles including Lead Educator, Educational Leader, and Service 2IC, before moving naturally into Centre Director; a role she has proudly held for the past year.
Miranda holds a Cert III in Education Support and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and is currently completing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care. Her approach is guided by a strong belief in safeguarding the magic of childhood, supporting families and embedding meaningful, nature-connected learning experiences each day.
Inspired by the curiosity and joy of children, she leads with warmth, collaboration and integrity, striving to build a positive, supportive workplace culture where her team can thrive. Her vision is to create a true community hub, a welcoming extension of family where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and every family feels deeply supported.
Outside of work, Miranda treasures time with her two boys, enjoys days at the beach, good food, great music (especially around Fremantle), and is a lifelong book lover who is convinced there’s no such thing as owning too many books.
Miranda is thrilled to be joining Tall Tree and looks forward to building strong, meaningful connections with the White Gum Valley community.
