Last week we celebrated Children’s Week. Children’s Week recognises that children deserve to enjoy childhood, the week encourages children to show their talents, skills and abilities.
Engaging with the Djilba season through art nurtures children’s creativity and deepens their understanding of environmental stewardship and cultural diversity. By connecting art with nature and storytelling, children learn to appreciate the world around them and their place within it.
Sustainability isn’t just about the environment; it’s also about creating vibrant, resilient communities. Our Early Learning program emphasises community involvement that helps children understand their role within a larger context.
We were delighted to officially welcome, Natalie Herridge, Councillor, City of Wanneroo to Tall Tree Early Learning Landsdale last week. Natalie has been a huge supporter of ours since we opened early this year, attending our Open Day in March and as a local herself, has loved to witness the former Landsdale mansion converted into our one-of-a-kind Early Learning Centre over the last two years.
This week, we celebrated and acknowledged the integral role early childhood educators play in our services, with emphasis on this year’s theme “Embracing Diversity Has Early Beginnings.” This inspiring theme resonates deeply with the values we hold at The Atlantis Group. We see it every day in our inclusive environments, in the relationships we build with our families and in the strong bonds and culture present within our teams.

Last week we were delighted to catch up with Sandy, Vice Chair at CareBags, again to hand over an additional 20 CareBags this winter that The Atlantis Group kindly donated in addition to the 59 winter CareBags we handed over in June from our families and staff.
We have an ongoing connection with ECU through collaborative research projects and visits to support them with their assignment on learning environments.
Red Nose Day is one of Australia’s much-loved and iconic major fundraising events, raising awareness for SIDS research and providing free support to families affected.
