We’re looking for a warm, passionate Educator to join our well-loved Tall Tree Early Learning Centre located in Banksia Grove. Our centre, with its 6 rooms and 129-place capacity, offers a welcoming environment where you can make a meaningful impact on children’s development. Full-Time | Permanent - Monday to Friday | Full Availability between the hours of 6.30am to 6pm

Your Role

As a Certificate III Early Childhood Educator, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and care for children aged 0 to 5. You will work alongside a dedicated team of educators to plan and implement engaging learning programs that cater to the developmental needs and interests of each child. You will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing professional development, collaborate with a supportive team, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters the growth and well-being of every child in our care.

As an Educator, you will:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning programs.
  • Foster positive and supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Support children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through guided activities and play.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment that meets the needs of all children.
  • Observe and document children’s progress, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.
  • Assist in managing daily routines and transitions, ensuring smooth and positive experiences for the children.
  • Uphold all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including child protection and health and safety standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Your Qualifications
  • Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and possess a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Demonstrate experience in curriculum development and programming, with the ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences that engage children and support their individual needs.
  • Be passionate about supporting children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning and guided activities.
  • Show strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-based environment, contributing to the development of quality early childhood programs and supporting your peers in delivering high standards of education and care.
  • Be proactive and compassionate in responding to children’s needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort at all times.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to professionalism, adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety, child protection, and hygiene standards.
  • Be available for flexible working hours that may include weekdays, with a commitment to contributing to the consistency and continuity of care for children.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, striving to improve your skills and knowledge in early childhood education practices.
  • Possess a positive attitude and be a strong team player, ready to contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
