Who is eligible for the program?
A
Diploma Qualified Educators currently employed by The Atlantis Group and Tall Tree Early Learning, who meet the RPL criteria to advance to year 2 of the Bachelor of Education program and who work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

How much of the degree can I fast-track?
A
The Diploma pathway allows you to fast-track one year of the 4-year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education if you meet the RPL requirements.

What does the application and enrolment process involve
A
Interested Educators can submit an expression of interest to for consideration of the sponsorship by completing the Expression of Interest form outlining why they should be considered and proving they meet the relevant criteria. If approved The Atlantis Group and Tall Tree Early Learning will liaise with the University and the Educator can commence the enrolment.

When would the course start?
A
There are two intakes for the course per year. February and July. Depending on when you apply and taking into account other factors we will liaise with you about a suitable commencement date.

What if I don’t complete the course?
A
Upon sign-up you will be required to sign a training agreement with the company that outlines what will happen if you don’t complete the course, this will involve repayment of fees to the company.

What happens if I no longer work for the Atlantis Group?
A
As above your training agreement will outline that if you leave for whatever reason, you will be required to repay some or all of the fees paid to date.

Do I need to stay with the company for a certain period after completing my degree?
A
Yes, the training agreement outlines the length of time that you will be required to stay at the company following completion of your studies. Should you choose to leave within this time you may be required to repay some or all of the fees paid for your course.

What happens if I need to defer my study or reduce my study load?
A
Any requirement to defer or reduce study load must be discussed with us, so we can assess how we can better support you in completing your qualifications.

Will I continue working in my current role while studying?
A
The opportunity is offered on a part-time, distance learning basis, meaning you can continue to work while you complete your studies. Should you wish to change your working conditions (for example, your working hours), this may impact your eligibility to continue as part of the program.

At what point can I work as an Early Childhood Teacher?
A
Once you are 50% through the Bachelor degree you can be counted for ratio purposes as an Early Childhood Teacher, but the company reserves the right not to utilise you in this capacity unless a suitable role is available.
