Tall Tree and Atlantis OSHC is seeking an energetic and dedicated Sports Coach to deliver engaging, structured physical activity programs across our Outside School Care and Early Learning services.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring movement, teamwork, and fun into the lives of school-aged children (5–12 years), supporting their physical development and love for active play.
As a Sports Coach, you will deliver structured sports programs working closely with our OSHC Managers, educators, and the Lead Sports Coordinator from our Support Office.
You’ll be the driving force behind fun and inclusive sport sessions that promote confidence, physical literacy, and positive social interactions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate sport sessions using structured guides for each sport
• Motivate and inspire children to enjoy active play and develop lifelong health habits
• Promote safe sport and respectful behaviour during all sessions
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children to foster participation and skill-building
• Provide weekly social media updates and link activities to the My Time Our Place and Physical Literacy frameworks
• Complete brief session reflections after each program to support continuous improvement
• Ensure all sports equipment is used respectfully and returned in good condition with inventory checks completed
· Flexibility to work between 2:00pm – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (8–10 hours/week)
· A sound understanding of various sports and their rules
· Confidence to follow structured lesson plans and provide reflective feedback
· A fun, engaging personality with strong communication skills
· Commitment to safety and high-quality program delivery
· A valid Working with Children Check
· National Police Clearance
· First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
