Atelier

Creative expression is a window into the heart song of even the littlest people.

Using art to guide and inform our child-led learning experiences, our Atelier plays a very important role in learning. The freedom to create and express, assists little ones to make sense of the world around them and to build on the learnings they encounter as they wander through their day-to-day lives.

We provide blank canvasses and catalysts of inspiration to facilitate their creative freedom. We allow your little one to choose what they wish to express. We encourage, rather than inform their choices, and refrain from overly-structured activities and templates.

Few things delight as much as the opportunity to see the world through your little one's eyes and art is wonderful medium in which to do so.

Meet Arti

Centre Manager, TallTree Early Learning Landsdale

With over 17 years ofexperience in Early Childhood Education, Arti brings heart, experience and adeep sense of purpose to her role as Centre Manager at Tall Tree Early Learning Landsdale.

Holding a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education from New Zealand, Arti’s journey began as a volunteer before becoming a qualified teacher and progressing into centre leadership. Over the years, she has led services and mentored passionate educators, supporting them to grow in confidence anddeliver meaningful learning experiences for children.

Early learning has always been part of Arti’s story. Growing up in a family connected to childcare, she developed a strong belief in advocating for children’s rights and creating environments grounded in respect, kindness and trust. She was drawn to Tall Tree because of its philosophy, which aligns closely with her own, influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach, RIE and Pikler principles, where the environment is seen as the “third teacher” and children are viewed as capable, competent and full of potential.

Arti is passionate about creating a true home away from home, a safe, nurturing space where children feel heard, valued and supported to express themselves in many different ways. As a leader, Arti prioritises open and honest relationships with her team, fostering a culture where educators feel supported, empowered and confident to advocate for every child in their care.

She believes families are a child’s first and most important teachers and values strong, collaborative partnerships built on trust. For Arti, it truly “takes a village” and building a connected community is central to helping children develop confidence, identity and a sense of belonging.

Outside of the centre, Arti enjoys spending time with her cricket-loving family, visiting the beach, gardening and planning their next holiday adventure.

At Tall Tree Landsdale, Arti leads with compassion and integrity, creating a place where children flourish, families feel confident and Educators grow.

Testimonials

Tenesha

Landsdale

The growth our son has made in the short time he has been with Tall Trees is a testament to the care and dedication of the educators. He is absolutely thriving and learning so much every single day. As young parents we often get ignored or overlooked, however at Tall Tree we are supported and reassured by all of the educators. Moving our son to the centre has been the best decision we’ve made and we couldn’t be happier.

Katrina

Landsdale

Tall Trees is an incredible space - so large and open, providing plenty of room for the kids to run, explore and play. The educators always show care and kindness to the children and are truly passionate about what they do.

James

Landsdale

Our son has grown in confidence since joining Tall Tree and learns so much. We are extremely grateful in how much they teach not just play but it is a great balance too. Our son always comes home telling us all about his day and what he learnt.

Lauren

Landsdale

I was dreading sending my child to daycare as an anxious mum, but I couldn’t be happier with the friendly, fun and engaging environment that my son gets to experience every time he goes.

Nutrition

We believe good nutrition is vital in a child’s physical and mental development. Ensuring your little one is healthy, satiated and nourished is a passion for us; and so, Food Education is an essential component in each and every day.

Our in-house Food Coordinators partner with accredited children’s Nutritionists to create seasonal menus and are prepared fresh daily in our Centre’s. Our homestyle approach ensures we create wholesome, balanced meals using ingredients that can be sourced locally, readily available and food we know your children will enjoy eating.

We encourage children to experience new flavours and textures to gain exposure to a variety of food types. We encourage children to self-serve to ensure they gain and build on their fine motor skills and independence. We serve our food in a relaxed setting to ensure mealtimes are always a positive experience and an opportunity to build on their social skills.

All menus are developed with allergies in mind, offering a variety of gluten-free, nut-free, diary-free and vegan alternatives. As an environmentally conscious organization we are committed to sustainability and reduced food wastes in our services.
