So much to do and so much to learn, for such little people.
The progression from Baby to Toddler is a time of rapid development and milestones. A time of intense discovery and exploration as your little one learns to walk, learns to talk and starts to develop an even deeper sense of their environment.

With this discovery of new skills, comes the intensifying of new emotions and a greater sense of self. Big leaps and even bigger emotions. In our Babies Room, we nurture little ones and allow them to develop that all-important sense self and independence; whilst balancing their need for security and stability. Relationships come to the forefront, as they learn to decipher trust and navigate the tricky politics of first friendships through parallel play.

We believe that every child should be able to develop at their own pace but with the right support and guidance. Here we start to introduce some structured activity, based around child-led interests. Our environment is designed to inspire imagination and so, you’ll find a lot of spare parts, life objects and blank canvasses to encourage your little one to create for themselves.

We will work with you on nap times, eating preferences, comforters, interests, likes, dislikes and any other aspect of their day you feel is important. The care and comfort of your little one is our number one priority.

Nature School

Nothing stops a child in their tracks like nature. Simple discoveries that spark intrigue and curiosity. Few things delight as much as the opportunity to see the world through your little one’s eyes and expressive play in nature provides a wonderful canvas.

We create opportunities for children to take measured risks, appropriate to the environment and their development, enabling them to build their confidence and physical abilities. Children are given the opportunity to learn at their own pace, and are encouraged to become curious learners.

Our beautiful learning environments allow for exploration and provide children with the knowledge and tools to learn how to look after themselves, each other and the natural environment, while rest areas provide a quiet place to gather thoughts and reflect upon learning.

Our truly unique Nature School program offers children an abundance of room to learn and grow. We work with the children to develop learning activities which support their own individual interests and observations, incorporating the Early Years Learning Framework, while forming caring relationships and bonds.

Story time

Reading and storytelling is vitally important in the early years and forms a big part of our Tall Tree curriculum. Reading with babies and children promotes brain development and imagination, provides the building blocks for language and emotions, and strengthens relationships.

It's never too late to instil a love for literature, babies may not be able to read but the magic of story time will spark their imagination and curiosity. Babies and young children often enjoy books, songs and stories with good rhyme, rhythm and repetition, and we love to share our creativity and passion during story time with our littlest learners.
